At the stand of the Military Institute of Telecommunications and Informatization named after the Heroes of Kruty, they showcased a target detection and recognition system, a ground control station for unmanned aerial vehicles, and other developments.
This was reported by Defense Express.
The target detection and recognition system allows real-time identification of various enemy equipment — tanks, IFVs, and the like. It’s built on a neural network approach, which lets it pinpoint hostile objects with high accuracy.
The university specialises in jam-resistant, encrypted communication tools and sensors for drones with 4K and 7K resolution. According to a university representative, “there’s no electronic warfare gear at this exhibition capable of jamming our UAV communication systems.”
