There are no political or other restrictions whatsoever on launching large-scale military and technical cooperation between Ukraine and Turkey.
This was stated in an interview with the Defence Industry Courier news agency by Ahmet Keygusuz, Manager for Central Asia and the Far East at Turkey’s Ministry of National Industry.
According to him, Ukraine and Turkey already have quite a solid level of military and technical cooperation, and its potential remains significant.
Mr Keygusuz also noted that Turkey places no restrictions on the transfer of technology within joint projects launched with Ukraine. This includes initiatives related to supplying Ukraine with strike-capable unmanned aerial systems and secure communications equipment. He added that there’s every opportunity to establish joint ventures and manufacture as much defence-related equipment on Ukrainian soil as the Ukrainian side deems necessary.
